About Us
Interim Management is a division of the Creative Education group which has provided training and consultancy services to 2,500 schools throughout the UK over 20 years. Founded in 2003, Interim Management has worked with more than 30 Local Authorities and 50 schools.
We recognise that every client has different needs and, when trouble-shooting, our associates have the expertise and insight to identify not only the priorities but key underlying issues and to tackle the causes or problems, not only the symptoms, with sensitivity and consideration.
As our head office team comprises staff who have been school leaders, Oftsed inspectors, school advisors and interim managers, we have a wealth of contacts and wide-ranging experience of the challenges faced by both our clients and our associates.
Drawing on the capabilities of our team of around 2000 associates throughout the country, we are in a prime position to provide the very best candidates for interim and consultancy positions and they have instant access to specialist advice from the core team at no further cost.
Working in partnership with senior leadership teams, governing bodies and Local Authorities, we keep in close contact with both our clients and our associates throughout interim appointments to ensure that you have customised, flexible support.
We are open, reflective and committed to making an impact on teaching and learning and to enhancing the quality of children’s school experience as a whole. We relish fresh challenges and turning around crisis situations.
Our priority is helping you to develop your capacity for sustained improvement.

The case |
Reporting a drop of nearly 65% in exclusions and an increase of 11% in teaching judged by the inspection team to be ‘very good’, a Welsh high school has been removed from special measures by our interim team whose leadership resulted in ‘a remarkable turnaround in pupil achievement and higher attendance’.
